Dylan Shields (152 lbs) finishes in 7th place and Ryan Harer (170 lbs) finishes in 8th place. Great Job Guys!!!

Kershner, Shields and Harer advance to the third round of consolations on Saturday10 am.

Ulmer, Kershner, Shields, Packer, Harer, Winchester, Lorson all won in the second round consolations.  Third round starting soon.

Championship Second Round – Ulmer lost decision to Yates (Erie McDowell) 3-1; Brungard lost maj. dec. to Spearman (Erie McDowell) 13-5; Kershner lost dec to Nolan (Erie McDowell) 7-1. 

Shore grapplers took it tough in the first round with only 3 wrestlers advancing through to preliminary second round action starting at 3:30 today:  Noah Ulmer – 106 lbs, Kaiden Brungard – 138 lbs and Mackenzie Kershner – 145 lbs advanced.

Dylan Shields-152 lbs wrestled the second seed (Bryar Pletcher from Greater Latrobe) tough and was only trailing 2-4 with 45 seconds left in the third period.  Elliott Packer – 160 lbs lost a hard fought 3-4 decision to James Paulson (Erie McDowell).

All remaining shore wrestlers are in the wrestle backs.  Stay tuned.

freshmen: Noah Ulmer and Cotton Winchester each picked up their first high school wins friday night.

Friday afternoon will be here before we know it! I am extremely excited to get everyone in the room and get things rolling and I know the Jr. High staff is as well. Great success comes with hard work and sacrifice, and I know we are all up for the challenge. I hope your all as excited as I am to get things going. C ya soon.
